Ivanka Trump Launches First Fragrance
December 20, 2012
Ivanka Trump is launching her first fragrance which will hit the shelves next week at Macy’s, and will hit other departmental stores in the USA next Spring, and worldwide in the Fall.
Nosed by perfumers Jennifer Mullarkey – who developed fragrances for Parlux and Marypierre Julien – who composes fragrances for the house of Givaudan, the fragrance is a floral-oriental composition has a touch of luminous fruity notes and flirtatious spices. Top notes incorporate luminous Italian bergamot, juicy apple and pink pepper, which highlight sensuality. The heart encompasses jasmine, rose and peach, while the base closes with golden amber, creamy vanilla, patchouli and cedar.
Ivanka pointed out the use of coral in the fragrance packaging because it is her signature color. “There is coral always with white gold embossing. It feels delicate and fresh but there’s a strength to it. The bottle is evocative of one of the pieces in our jewelry collection, so you have the octagonal shape and looks like an emerald cut or cut diamond.” As for the fragrance itself, she said, “my tendency is towards more floral, but I wanted give it a little more complexity and a little more youthfulness than a classic.”
